A prop consists of two tubes that are telescopically displaceable with each other. It has a coarse adjustment with a pin inserted into holes in the inner tube and a means of fine adjustment using a threaded collar. Adjustable U-Head or Crosshead spindle is used to support the stringer and joist along with plywood.
